MBuy Partners with JC Decaux and Shedd Aquarium for innovative OOH campaign
For the summer of 2015 Shedd Aquarium is running the Amphibians special exhibit, featuring 40 species of amphibians. To promote the event and drive visitors, Shedd teamed up with MBuy to create a fresh and exciting OOH campaign. Shedd was also in search of a concept that could also be reused as a display in the aquarium, as well as other venues after the campaign ended.
Shedd Aquarium, MBuy & J C Decaux partnered to craft an innovative campaign that included lively and scientifically accurate models of frogs and salamanders perched atop of bus shelters throughout the city. Shedd Aquarium’s in-house sculptor created the striking examples of some of the amphibians on display at the exhibit. In addition, shelter wraps with close-ups of the amphibians were developed, to trigger interest and provide detailed information on the exhibition.
